2003 Hiking Schedule:

Mt. Evans, Guanella Pass route(climbed Feb. 2003):  Click here to see trip report.

Mt. Princeton, Standard Route from Mt. Princeton Road.(scehduled for Sat. May 3):  We will plan on a 3,500 vertical foot climb over an estimated 3 1/8 mile(one-way) route.  Depending on snow, and avalanche conditions, we may choose a ski descent.  Departure time for the mountain will be 12am Saturday morning from Boulder.  From there we will be taking US285 to Buena Vista.  Our goal is to be on trail by 3:00-4:00 am.

Mt. Sneffels/Wetterhorn Peak(May 24, May 25):  This is a tentative plan that requires further team discussion.

Crestone Needle(June 27th):  Trip will include a 3,500 vertical foot ascent and start on the jeep trail to S. Colony lake.  Crestone Peak(June 27th or 28th) depending on the success of the Needle attempt, Crestone Peak will be attempted from Broken Hand pass(or just below) on the descent of Crestone Needle.

Blanca Peak(June 29th(or 28th)):  Will be attempted from Lake Como.
Little Bear Peak(June 30th(or 29th)):
Mt. Lindsay(July 1 or (June 30)):
Ellingwood Point(July 2(or 1):
Challenger Point/Kit Carson Peak(July 2(or 3)):

Capitol Peak/Pyramid Peak(July 26th & 27th):  This is a tenative date.

Longs Peak(August 16th):  Tenative date for the annual LP hike.  We will be doing the Keyhole Route.
